Oritsejafor is a man of GOD I trust – Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has lent his voiceto the $9.3m arms controversy involving Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s aircraft.

Airing his opinion on his Facebook walls recently, the esteemed man of God, Pastor Adeboye wrote “One Anointed cannot attack another Anointed. A Pastor cannot attack another Pastor. Touch not my Anointed is what God said.”

”Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor is a man of GOD I trust and I can personally vouch for him. I believe on the issue of his aircraft being chartered and the purpose it was used for, that he had no prior knowledge. I’m sure God will continue to build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail in JESUS name.” he stated.

The authenticity of the post was confirmed by the Redeemer’s Torch through a text message to the Personal Assistant to daddy Adeboye.

Earlier, the Federal Government had come out in defence of the Christian Association of Nigeria president, arguing that Oritsejafor who is also the founder of Word of Life Bible Church has no hand in the deal.

The Christian Association of Nigeria and the firms operating the aircraft that was used to transport the $9.3m cash from Nigeria to South Africa have absolved the CAN National President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, of involvement in the deal.

They argued that although the man of God had interest in Eagle Air Company, the owner of the aircraft used to take the money to South Africa, the firm had been leased to Green Coast Produce Limited since August 2, 2014.

Also, a statement issued on behalf of Oritsejafor’s church and signed by one Mr. BayoAdewole, corroborated this, adding that the aircraft, a Bombardier Challenger 600, Registration No N808HG) was owned by Eagle Air.

Adewola, however, added that Oritsejafor “holds a residual interest” in the company.

“On behalf of Pastor Oritsejafor, we can confirm that although he holds an interest in Eagle Air, the aircraft in question is not operated by Pastor Oritsejafor.”

Also, a statement signed by Mr. Emmanuel Ohaeri, on behalf of Eagle Air Company, directed all questions and issues regarding the aircraft to Green Coast Produce Limited.

On September 5 this year, two Nigerians and an Israeli national attempted to smuggle into South Africa $9.3m cash conveyed in the chartered private jet which was seized by the South African authorities.
