The Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Admin/ Personnel), Pastor Johnson Odesola has charged the various accountants in the mission on the need to build their confidence on trust and commitment.
Odesola said this during the 2016 Accountants’ conference held recently at the Youth Centre, Redemption Camp. He said trust is the confidence in characters and competence which should be a personal credibility for any leader. He described commitment as a feeling of responsibility and a sense of purpose to attain excellence.
The Special Assistant also told the participants that building trust in a place of work involves developing a good rapport among member staff, being polite in addressing people, establishing credibility and avoiding long standing conflict among others.
Odesola advised the accountants to protect themselves from the virus identified as complacency, carelessness, fear and procrastination, describing them as commitment breakers.
