The Pastor in charge of Lagos Provinces 33, Pastor Dele Jaiyeoba has described the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as lives touching ones
Jaiyeoba who was represented by his Assistant Pastor in charge of Province (CSR), Pastor Gbenga Olukoya said this during the dedication of a borehole project cited at T. O. S. Benson Estate in Ikorodu. The project, anchored by RCCG Halleluyah Parish, Area 2, Zone 2 of the Province was for the use of the community.
The PICP said God has been using the CSR tremendously to touch lives. He thereafter dedicated the borehole for the use of the people in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Earlier, the Pastor in charge of Halleluyah Area, Pastor Wale Olaopa had charged the people to have the heart of giving to the needy. He said God laid emphasis on giving to foster love.
In his message titled, “Cup of Water” Olaopa who took his Bible passage from Mark 9:41, said giving to the work of God is good. “Give to your neighbors and the needy” he charged the people.
Quoting Galatians 6:9, he said the dedication of the borehole to the Estate is a part of doing good, admonishing all not to be tired of giving. Adding that it is believed “a quitter never wins and a winner never quits.”
In His speech of appreciation, the General Secretary of T.O.S. Benson Estate, Mr Adebola Felix Olugbenga expressed the joy of the community for the provision of the borehole. He said whoever has given water has given life and hope.
He thanked the church for giving the Estate water for free, saying that it would foster peace in the Estate.
The hearts of people in attendance were filled with Joy as everyone had a taste of the water to refresh.
Other Executives of the Estate at the occasion were the Treasurer and the Public Relation Officer in the person of Mrs. Fatimot Sosan and Mr. Peace Nwabuoyi respectively.
