LP 56 HOLDS 12TH EDITION OF LET SOMEBODY SHOUT HALLELUYAH

The prophetic utterance and logo (Let somebody shout halleluyah) of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye has not only been a spoken word but has become an entity in form of a programme. Lagos Province 56 tapped into this grace by the Holy Ghost twelve years ago and has been organizing this life touching five day event tagged “Let Somebody Shout Halleluyah.” The event usually holds first week in December held the 2015 in a unique way as it marks the first since Parish was lifted to provincial status during last year convention.

Speaking on the event, Pastor in charge of the Province, Pastor Olufemi Emmanuel said the programme for the past years has been of tremendous help to numerous lives. He gave all the credit to the awesome God for His faithfulness since all these years and gave kudos to the visioner of the programme and contributors who never relent in making it a huge success.

The elegant man of God did not but talk about other unique dimensions of the programme like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reaching out to the needy through medical checkup and treatment, supplies of food and clothing. He said it also involves praises to God capable able to deliver miracles in every sphere of life.

On Wednesday morning, it was high praise as it has always been and this was tagged ‘Praise for Favour’. The Milk and Honey voices ministered in Holy Spirit and the atmosphere was transformed.

Just as our God is new every day, so was it on Thursday, tagged ‘Praise for Wonders’. It was another realm of glory as Pastor J.O Obayemi, Pastor in charge of Region 2 exhorted the great congregation on the subject of praise which he said has potency to deliver wonders. The host choir, Milk and Honey voices, Obinna and the anointed saxophonist, Sam Sax ministered in songs.

On Friday, It was an atmosphere of God’s wonders as God’s Servant, Reverend Dele Oluwatomisin of Doulous ministry did not only preach the word with great effect of the Holy Ghost but worshipped in songs and led the congregation into God’s presence in worship after which he preached the Word of God titled ‘Praise for deliverance’. Also ministered in songs was Tosin Alao. He led the church in praise and worship and God’s presence was thick.

On Saturday, there was a visitation to orphanage where clothes and food items were distributed by the children department of the province. There was health talk including free medical checkup and treatment.

The grand finale on Sunday brought about a huge crowd. It featured music from the host choir as well the minstrel, Tosin Alao. The word of God was delivered by Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye. He preached on the Power of Praise, quoting from Exodus 15:21-22 and Psalms 150:1-6. He said God does not only desire our praise but deserves it.

Pastor Kalejaiye congratulated the Pastor in charge of Province, his assistants, ministers and the entire workers and members for the Parish new status and for what God has been using them to do in His vineyard.
