LIFE, AS A JOURNEY IS FULL OF OPPOSITES –Afolayan

The pastor in charge of Region 4 of the Redeemed Christian of God, Pastor Ezekiel Afolayan has described life as a journey full of opposites.

Afolayan said this during his message at the 50th birthday service for Pastor Abiodun Ralph Afolagboye, the Regional Evangelist for Region 4. Pastor Afolayan who took his bible text from Exodus 40: 34-38 spoke on Life is a Journey.

“Life as a journey is full of opposites; battle and peace, sorrow and joy; tear and laughter; struggle and rest; pleasant and unpleasant situations,” Afolayan posited.

He said life is a movement from one destination to another which has starting, connecting and end destination points.

The man of God added, “Different people see life from different perspectives, therefore they handle life differently.

He advised the celebrant not to go through any short cut in his 50s; rather to follow the path of God to enjoy divine promotion. The Regional Evangelist was also enjoined to pay attention to the road signs in life by waiting upon the Lord in prayer and learn to be patience because every sign has a meaning which if ignored may bring about abrupt end to journey in life.

In his response, Pastor Ralph Afolagboye gave thanks to God for his life, especially for God’s grace while passing through turbulent situations in life. He appreciated God for the cordial relationship between him and the Pastor in charge of the Region, which he described as uncommon and godly.

Pastor Afolagboye who became a worker in RCCG in 1987 and ordained full Pastor in 1998, acknowledged the presence of his family members, friends in the ministry and all who have contributed in one way or the other for the success of the birthday programme.

The occasion was used to launch a book titled “I WILL MAKE IT” written by the celebrant.

Present at the event were all Pastors in charge of provinces in Region 4 and their assistants as well as elders in the mission among others.
